Von den drei Ausreißern liegt Bessy im Gesamtklassement am besten. Der Franzose ist 34. mit einem Rückstand von nur 20 Sekunden auf Martin Perdiguero. Das hat aber alles noch nicht so viel zu sagen, heute Abend wird das Gesamtklassement ganz anders aussehen |

Ich denke erst bei km 190, mit dem Anstieg zum Alt Coll de Montaup 1990m wird das Rennen so richtig eröffnet werden. |

Popovych was the most impressive during this final climb... while other leaders like Ullrich, Mayo and Valverde may have decided not to take too much risk, two months before the start of the Tour de France 15:56 PIEPOLI!!!! The Italian rider from Saunier Duval claims the sprint at the top of the climb at Pal-Arinsal, six seconds ahead of new overall leader Yaroslav Popovych and Spaniard Aitor Osa 1 km 39 seconds for Osa, Popovych and Piepoli over the second group 2 km In front, Popovych is in the best position to take the overall leadership as he is currently 10 seconds behind Perdiguero 2 km Jan Ullrich is a bit further than Perdiguero's group... 3 km Leonardo Piepoli (Saunier Duval), Yaroslav Popovych (Discovery Channel) and Aitor Osa (Illes Balears) already catch Bessy then Navarro...
